Question - My window is misted up, will I need a new window?
Answer - No, you can just replace the double glazed unit at a fraction of the cost of a new window.
Question – The handle on my window or door is broken, can you repair it?
Answer – Yes we can, Windor can replace handles of any colour and size, even if your existing handles are obsolete we can find a more modern and up to date replacement.
Question – I am getting draughts from my windows or door, can this be fixed without the need for a new door or window?
Answer – Yes, in almost all circumstances draughts can be eliminated - our engineer will be able to advise you on site.
Question – I have a damaged door panel, do I need a new door?
Answer – No, we have a huge selection of replacement door panels which are available in all colours.
Question – The lock on my door is broken, do I need a new door?
Answer – No, we can replace your existing door lock like for like. Or, if the broken lock is obsolete, we will upgrade it with a more modern and up to date lock which will be compatible with your door.
Question – Do you fix broken letter boxes?
Answer – Yes, we can repair or replace letter boxes of different sizes and colours.
Question – Do you fit cat or dog flaps to doors?
Answer – Yes, we can fit cat or dog flaps to almost all doors. We can even fit cat or dog flaps to fully glazed doors, by replacing the existing glass with a new double glazed sealed unit. The new unit has a pre-cut hole which will accommodate the cat or dog flap of your choice.
Question – The polycarbonate on my conservatory is old and tarnished, do I need a new conservatory roof?
Answer – No, we can simply replace the polycarbonate in question with the same or different colour.
Question - I have a window, door or conservatory which is leaking, can you help?
Answer - Yes, we will send out one of our engineers who will inspect the leaking window, door or conservatory in question with a view to finding out what is causing the leak.
Question - Do you give a guarantee on the repair work you do?
Answer – Yes, five years on double glazed units, five years on replacement wood grain door panels, ten years on replacement white door panels, five years on replacement polycarbonate and one year on all other works.
Question - The glass design on my windows appear to be outdated, can I change the glass to something more up to date?
Answer - Yes, our engineer will provide you with a brochure which has a wide range of modern glass designs.
